For Receptionist and Clinic Assistant Accounts

Welcome to Curis, a digital healthcare operations platform developed and owned by Citrus Labs Limited. This document outlines the Terms and Conditions governing your access and use of the Curis platform in your capacity as a Receptionist or Clinic Assistant.


1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating or accessing a Receptionist or Clinic Assistant account on Curis, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.


2. Purpose of the Service

Curis is designed to support healthcare facilities in streamlining patient check-ins, scheduling, record management, and clinic communications. As a Receptionist or Clinic Assistant, your access is restricted to operational, non-diagnostic functionalities.


3. Definitions

  • "You" / "User": A receptionist or clinic assistant authorized to use Curis.
  • "Curis": The digital platform developed by Citrus Labs Limited for healthcare operations.
  • "Facility": The healthcare institution employing or contracting you.

4. Account Terms

a. Creating Your Account

You must be authorized by a licensed healthcare facility to register. All information provided during registration must be complete and accurate.

b. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Sharing login access is strictly prohibited.

c. Password Policy

Your password must meet Curis's security requirements. Change your password regularly and report any suspected unauthorized access immediately.


5. Use of Services

a. Platform Availability

Curis strives to maintain 99.9% uptime but does not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance may cause temporary disruptions.

b. Maintenance and Updates

We may update the platform to improve performance or security. Continued use after updates implies acceptance of the changes.


6. Your Responsibilities

a. Provide Accurate Information

Ensure all patient and facility data you enter is truthful, current, and properly authorized.

b. Handling Patient Information

You must adhere to Kenya's Data Protection Act (2019) and maintain strict confidentiality regarding any personal or medical information accessed through the platform.

c. Compliance with Laws

You must comply with all applicable Kenyan laws, including regulations under the Health Act, 2017, the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC) guidelines, and any related privacy or professional standards.


7. Platform Limitations

a. Downtime and Interruptions

Citrus Labs Limited is not liable for any losses incurred due to unplanned outages, server errors, or internet disruptions.


8. Termination & Access

a. Termination by User

You may deactivate your account at any time by notifying your facility administrator.

b. Access After Termination

Upon termination, your access to Curis will be revoked. Data may be retained by the platform in accordance with legal and institutional policies.


9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be communicated via email or in-app notices. Continued use of Curis after such notifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
